Last week was a week full of events happening in my life. Two of my very good friends moved out of Bangalore and I could never think that their movement would be felt that much. Vikas , who came here in September to join wipro, started staying with us after moving from Chennai and within this short span , we became good mates. He was 3 years elder than me so acted more intelligently in almost every situation that we came across. Our cook who could make tea ,great maggi and simply yum paneer bhurji on sundayz .. would really miss that.. weekends , we never had any botheration about tea time since vikas always should to make bread butter and tea for us.. he opted for relocation and got it within a week.. and now back to north.. another friend whu went Archana..earlier a team mate bt later turned out to become a good friend.. We went out together a night before she moved to get some gifts for her circle of friends and I think that shopping spree would be remembered for long long times… She is emotional, she is sensible and she is a friend. We went to team lunch on day she was leaving..after that had a cake cutting ceremony followed by speeches... and our mosquito .. she acted like a typical punjaban… started crying and I could feel she was really gonna miss her… Few days back sheenam went, and now its archana.. soon pushkar will also be flying back and I can see that energy of team , the fun part of team slowly moving out.. L the fun won’t be the same again.. but then have to understand that this is part and parcel of life and life moves on…
At office , ethnic day celebrations kicked off.. and we started off with nomination process this Friday and were really excited about it.. and we could all see the enthusiasm and interest in people filling the forms and putting them in drop-boxes.. Tuesday we end up with nominations and then birthday bash we again have a gala time waiting in project…
I hope the next week goes on smoothly … the time is running tooo fast and I want to slow down the pace..but I think will take some time for me to control myself and get back to living life my way..

January 15 - Day's Wrap Up :)
Ok.. so here I am… again into my blog.. cant avoid it sometimes..Sunday nite it was LOHRI.. a festival that we used to celebrate every year with great fun happenin.. we all neighbours sitting around bonfire having a great time til 10-10.30 and then dispersing… this time it was different..far away from home.. in place where nobody knew if there s any festival and this time around no kites in the sky on lohri.. bt can’t help na.. so we all here decided to do shagan atleast. We got the wood, arranged a small bonfire n then sat down to have fun…legs pulled on each statement coming out f anybody’s mouth.. mera v number lag gya.. bt then if u don’t accept it.. its not being in spirit.. Sunday ended on quite nice note since atleast there were all Punjabi frnz getting together n not feeling away from home atleast the nite time..
I also came across the show We The People, hosted by Barkha Dutt..shez just too good fr this profession..she was hosting a talk show on Blogging itself…so I just stuck on to that channel to listen wat was being said. And I heard comments of professional, a parent, a gay who blogs and a journalist who blogs with fake identity..all had different opinion about blogging.. I found tht pretty interesting discussion since people were being clear about expressing their thoughts.
Blog, writing personal thoughts in public domain gives u enough freedom of expression and freedom to write whatever you wish to. Sometimes I think,I can write so I use my blog to test whether I seriously can.. at times when I read my old entries.. many a times I cherish the moments described.. he he.. wow.. I can sometimes write good as well ;) I feel satisfied n content about my writing coz atleast I know how hard is for person like me to sit and write anything.
These dayz coz of Pongal and Makar Sakranti here in south , many people are on leave which includes some of my team mates too.. now at time when many are on leave.. we are getting loads of work.. loads means really loads.. :( today when I started working .. I thought I’ll finish by 3-4 pm bt I hardly finished that by 7.30 and then had some calls to make..
An end to yet another day.. cant belive that half first month is over.. I mean we jst had new year celebrations and today 15 is also gone.. time is flying my side.. I would say.. life is on rocket n wishes to be in express mail where in there are little stops, nice journey.. life needs to be little in control where in I need to take some time out for myself as well.. but chalo jida waheguru di marzi..
What happened today…Reliance Power is OUT.. the IPO got opened today and in minutes.. subscribed.. totally expected and was nothing so breaking in the news.. by the end of day it got oversubscribed nearly 10 times.. now being the biggest ipo in market til date and getting this huge subscription justifies the position and hold of Reliance on market and minds of people of India..price band of 405-450 and I m so tempted to go for it..
See I dnt even know ABC of stock market.. bt still I am thinking to buy it.. and wat more.. m writing my expert opinion about it.. he he as if anybdy s listenin to it..

The Week That Was
So its been long time since I updated my blog but atleast I am keeping my resolution by updating atleast once a week. I always think of writing and updating but somehow , things don’t turn the way I think.. :p either laptop is not working or simply the net connection .. sometime I am in mood to watch TV or m on messenger with some one talking so by the time I feel writing.. m not in position to write L but newayz m free today and I have no major work.. lets write…
Just back from moderators league and had a real good time there interacting with the Yahoo’s and Moderators of many groups on yahoo.. a very nice interactive session was there.. also went to gurudwara sahib from thr coz I was very near to it .
Talking about last week.. had a normal week.. nothing spectacular, nothing extra ordinary happened but yes Dad’s birthday was there yesterday so missed being in Amritsar. But was kept so busy in work at office tht dint let me go sad.. time hoye to banda soche.. :D ..Yes.. there was one achievement of one of my friends which made me proud. One f my friends topped her MBBS examz and she was on top of the world.. he he.. when I read her scrap on orkut tht she topped.. really made my proud of her as friend since I know she was intelligent and gave her full effort all the time and she deserved to get this but somehow was not getting. I love when any of my friends come up with this line.. hey I won, I topped, I achieved this, I went to nationals… m so blessed in this way that people around me are so intelligent and a small shadow of their feat inspires me to compete and atleast be fair in my performance so that even I have something to talk about .. J
Yes.. Sheenam said bye to bangalore, she went back home.. would be working from home till march and after that.. dnt know wat her plans are… but I dnt sense her coming bak and working in Bangalore.. I wuld miss a mentor , a person who I could go to anytime to talk about any of my problems I felt regarding my work and she could just suggest me the way I should be going… I would have to wait to meet her once to play more pranks on her.she is a real sport in this.. never took things at heart and everybody in team loved her for this..
I also had my mid year performance discussion with my supervisor where in he told me about how to go about in time to come with my work and how I faired so far…. The feedback and review I received was fine and till date he did not found any problem with my work and he asked me to continue to do the same and also make efforts in other areas apart from work in office hours.
Baaki allz well.. allz good.. God is my driver and he’z just driving me well these days..

Moderator's League
Today Jan 12, 2008.. would be a day to remember.. I attended a small meet-up of Yahoo Group Moderators commonly known as moderator’s league here at The Taj Residency , Bangalore… it was my first visit to Hotel and wow.. wat a place it is.. completely blown over by the design, ambience and the hospitality that a hotel provides.. morning 11 am i got my name registered with yahoo people and there was official start in next 20 minutes . After a welcome speech by the yahoo person, all the moderators introduced themselves with groups they were part of , and their experiences being moderators. This was second time the league was happening, so there were not much of participation but now the number is bound to increase as now people would know, managing their group well can give them interact with people who can affect the way things work in Yahoo.. All the pros and cons being on yahoo as group member n moderator came out and there was healthy discussion which resulted in getting a great feedback from the moderator’s. I managed to win some pens.. ;) on answering questions on yahoo groups. There was a demonstration of new products which are being launched by yahoo in India in days to come.. so had a live interactive session with people who were leading the respective teams and they took the feedback from us on how things we think would be going.. and vice versa…
At the end there was a group photograph of all the mods and with yahoo team. And then we all had one to one sessions with people from yahoo..atleast now If I wish to restart using my yahoo mail , I can give it a thought since I know if I anytime get any problem using , I have people who I can mail direct to know about the solutions.. I met almost all the moderators present and had a good interactive session, there were people from all the ages and all the communities. From DilSeDesi group owner to Hyderabad Masti to 20-20 cricket to HRA.. and there was no bound on age. We had moderator who is 75 years old and we had a moderator who is in second year of graduation.
It was a nice experience meeting new people, exchanging the ideas and getting to know tips and tricks on how to manage the groups , get hold of things which can come out while operating groups. Although the event was half day event.. I think with the feedback and response of mods , it will surely look next time to make it a full day event or even two days. Now when I have attended this league once, it gives me an entry to elite moderator’s league in yahoo. I am thinking to start 2-3 groups now of my own but with proper thought only… lets see if I am able to get a good idea to start it. J

Jan 03- A Long Day
So Another Day comes to close.. but what a busy day it was..first i woke at 9.30 and started watching match inspite of being late fr office..then got stuck in jam and reached office at 11.30. First thing.. had 2 new requests to work.. follow ups alwayz there..and then got a sudden deadline to finish up the mid year feedback by end of day..started the work and after lunch did my self input on site...and my god.. wat a trouble it was.. getting down all the points done in last 6 months to understand that something atleast has been done. he he.. but by the time i finished writing i could see that something certainly has been done.. and i am moving at good pace but i would certainly have to gather some speed now..by 6 i was done wid my document, self input and work. somehow finished all the remaining work by 8 and got bak to home. but things were not yet finished. got stuck in jam second time in day so managed to reach home by 10.15. At home.. rarely seen but electricity nt there.. and hence dinner without lights and tv and finaly put close to day..!!
I had plan to write but again body doesnt allows me to write for long ..coz my time sheet is pending so have to fill and then release it by tomorrow.. i am trying to finish my jobs now withing time limits and finishing all my pending jobs first.
maybe in a week's time i will get all my task in current status and then would get better hold of time..

Welcome 2008
Its 2008 and beginning of a new year..to start with.. a very happy new year.. i have just tried to bind myself in certain rules atleast fr a start.. first to be regular in remembering the almighty. then to write my blog atleast once a week..be regular in work and finish it within the time limits..this year is to be celebrated and spent as year of Career. Focussing on the work precisely. I dont know wats in store for me but watever in my hands would try to catch hold of it.This year.. have to be little more understanding… less talkative…and most importantly try to be a good listener.coz i know these would help me become a better human being than wat i am today.Being in bangalore, had a great start with a get together at my place. was simply great to have so many friends around while the clock struck 0000 am , 1 jan 2008. The complete story , i will try to write down in seperate post with detailed description.
Although i missed being at golden temple like all the other years but have to accept the fact that you can’t just think of things happen the way you want to.. There is Life and it has to move on.. and in moving would take u to different places and wil give u enough opportunity to meet new people, learn from them and explore places.
Eyes Closing and no more capacity to write fr nw.. although i wished to write something - about being emotional and emotional foolishness… bt thtz fr next time.. til then.. Cheerz
